Reformulate NovaMeal Into Your Ration & Reduce Ration Cost

NovaMeal is a high quality bypass protein with a low level of unsaturated fat. It delivers more digestible RUP and essential amino acids than many other protein supplements. By reformulating with NovaMeal you can reduce ration cost.
MIDWEST Original Ration vs. NovaMeal Ration: Shows a 12¢ savings per head per day by reformulating 5.68 pounds of NovaMeal into the ration by removing bypass SBM and DDGS and slightly reducing SBM. This was achieved due to the high RUP and RUP digestibility of NovaMeal, though urea was also added to ensure adequate rumen degradable protein. Cottonseed was also reduced marginally; however, soy hulls and energy booster were added to increase fiber and energy from fat, respectively.
SOUTHWEST Original Ration vs. NovaMeal Ration: Shows an 16¢ savings per head per day by reformulating 5.68 pounds of NovaMeal into the ration by removing bypass SBM. This was achieved due to the high RUP and RUP digestibility of NovaMeal. Soybean hulls were also reduced due to the increased digestible energy coming from NovaMeal.

CALIFORNIA Original Ration vs. NovaMeal Ration: Shows a 6¢ savings per head per day by reformulating 3.41 pounds of NovaMeal into the ration by decreasing canola meal, wet distillers, and corn gluten feed and adding in some urea. This was achieved due to the high RUP and RUP digestibility of NovaMeal. Whey was increased in the ration to account for the very low fat content of NovaMeal which slightly reduced the energy density of the ration.
